Club Information

Offham Cricket Club runs two Saturday sides in the Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League, both teams having gained promotion through the structured league system. The 1st XI by becoming the Mid Kent League Champions in 2001, and our 2nd XI when they were runners up in the M.K.L. Division Two in 2000. In 2012 our 1st XI became league champions of Kent League Division Five.

We also have a Sunday XI which has a full social cricket fixture list playing clubs from all over the county. In 2003 the club reformed its Junior section and there are now three teams playing in the Mid Kent Junior League for under 11`s, 13`s and 15`s.

The club can boast of good facilities which include a fine artificial wicket. Mid week summer nets are held every Tuesday. A bowling machine that tests the ability and skills of batsmen is always available at these sessions.

Our juniors also have the benefit of this equipment during their own practice evenings held every Friday throughout the summer. Winter nets for Juniors and Senior players are held at one of our local schools. Fielding practice is not forgotten and the club has a variety of catching cradles to help improve this aspect of the game.

Our Pavilion has a members and guests lounge, complete with a fully licensed bar which is open on match days and most practice evenings.

Socially the club has an annual Curry Night held early in the season which always proves to be very popular, and a Quiz Night during mid summer. The occasional B-B-Q after matches is great fun.

To conclude each season the club holds a Presentation Dinner where awards are given to players for their seasons achievements in Batting, Bowling and Fielding.  There is also a special award presented to our Young Player of the Year.
